Grace is a current graduate student in the School Counseling Program at George Washington University. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Human Development. For the past two years, she was a Registered Behavior Technician at an early-intervention behavioral clinic for children with autism. She has experience providing suicide crisis intervention on the Crisis Chat Line, assisting in group counseling for middle school students, and collaborating on mental health advocacy initiatives for youth and young adults. Her interests include early intervention services for children, increasing accessibility of mental health services to disadvantaged populations, decreasing the stigma of mental health, and creating positive social/emotional development for children. She hopes to expand her expertise in assisting school mental health initiatives to improve counseling services and increase cross-collaboration with community members and families
