Alexandra Vann is an executive leader and Project Coordinator at The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools within the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. With a robust background in de-escalation and behavior intervention, Alexandra previously co-led the DC Community of Practice work groups focused on crisis response and teacher wellness with emphasis on mental health support.

Currently, she is driving school-based mental health initiatives for the District of Columbia by coordinating SAMHSA-funded Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. Over the last four years of the grant Alex has created, implemented, and scaled programming for over 1,000 participants and 44 instructors.

Alexandra holds a B.A. in Psychology: Child Behavior Services with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Rowan University, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University.  Alexandra is an award recipient of The National Society for Leadership & Success and is committed to leveraging her network of partnerships to drive successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
