Marisa has been a leader in the delivery of children’s mental health services for 25 years as a clinical social worker. Her passion for supporting excellence in care for children furthest from opportunity led her to develop The MOMENTUM Residency. MOMENTUM provides a 2 year comprehensive professional development opportunity for mental health clinicians to work in DC public schools, providing trauma-informed care and culturally nuanced practice through a public health model.
